Letter from the Me, the Editor-

This is our first issue of Delighted; a zine that celebrates natural living, and promotes more moments of joy for you, our reader. I’ve had this beautiful piece swirling so vividly in my mind since I was a little girl. I can remember sitting on the beach with my grandmother playing visual designer; layout out strawberries on a blanket, next to her turquoise retro cooler and her with a perfect straw hat. My goal was to have a little photoshoot with her old camera. She was the photographer of the family and she saw that I understood the connection between how creating moments of beauty helps encourage them to actually occur more often in life.

The beginnings of a lifetime of visual artistic expression.

In my adult life I lead a content production company that has, for years, been centered on other people’s projects. Now I am finally giving myself permission to create what is in my heart. With a world class team - we are designing content to promote the lifestyle I could only fantasize about when growing up. The life pleasures that seemed impossible not too long ago; a bucolic farm, chef-driven meals, eating organic and locally sourced ingredients, foraging and frolicking mid-day. Yet the closer I get to these luxuries, the more I see they are truly available to everyone all of the time. This publication is about encouraging others to indulge in the moments that lend rarity to life more often.

Over the last year we have all developed a new relationship with time.

I am hopeful that this zine will help you capture how you want to spend yours. I am delighted to share this journey with you. We are in this together and it’s time to start living the life we’ve always dreamed of.
